European NANoREG project, funded by the European Commission FP7 programme, has developed a new nanomaterial-specific strategy for prioritization and risk assessment of applications with highest potential to impact human health. The strategy can be used by innovators, regulators, industry, and risk assessors for the safety assessment of existing and novel nanomaterials.
